MSI drift buoy

Microstar measures the flow velocity of the aquifer below 1 m to 5 m below sea level for lakes, offshore, or oceanic, including ocean current measurement, flow analysis, ecosystem boundary layer studies, and high frequency ground wave radar (H F r a d a r). Microstar includes diamond-shaped sail, surface float, connecting cable. The surface float has GPS, data wireless transmission system, antenna, battery and sensor. GPS calculates the velocity of the ocean. The sensor has the sea surface temperature (SST), the battery voltage, the water indicator (into the water state or in the air state). Data is streamed in real time via Iridium for 1 week to 3 months.
